Senior Vice President and Chief Scientific Officer

Ron Spivey has been Senior Vice President and Chief Scientific Officer since April, 2004. From June, 2002 to March, 2004 Dr. Spivey was President of Gibraltar Associates, a private company providing consulting services to the pharmaceutical industry relating to product research and development. From March, 1998 to May, 2002 he served as Vice President, Scientific Affairs for Alpharma / Purepac Pharmaceuticals. Additionally, Dr Spivey has served in a number of senior level scientific and leadership positions at Zenith Goldline Pharmaceuticals, Cima Labs Inc., Marion Merrell Dow, Burroughs Wellcome Company and Warner Chilcott Division of Warner Lambert. Dr. Spivey holds a BA degree from Indiana University and a Ph.D. degree in pharmaceutics from the University of Iowa.
